Shopping is an activity in which a customer browses the available goods or services presented by one or more retailers with the potential intent to purchase a suitable selection of them. The traditional way of shopping is visiting the mall where in you have to exert a lot of energy and effort to find and buy the things that you need or want. Online Shopping has become a major disruptor in the retail industry. Consumers can now search for product information and place product orders across different regions while online retailers deliver their products directly to the consumers’ home, offices or wherever they want.

 Online Markets is a type of e-commerce site where product or service information is provided by multiple third parties, whereas transactions are processed by the marketplace operator. Examples of famous online markets are Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, eBay and many more. Online Markets these days are rising and are being a big threat to the shopping malls or retail shops. Shoppers prefers online markets more than shopping malls because it is very convenient, you can easily shop anywhere and anytime in online markets. You can easily find the things that you need to buy, you just have to search it up then a variety of that products will show up and will let you allow to choose then you just have to wait for a few days and the product you ordered will be delivered at your doorstep. It’s a less tiring and stress free type of shopping. Instead of dressing and driving to the mall where its usually crowded and tiring, people these days prefer to  save their time, effort and shop comfortably.

Global online retail sales are growing and is estimated to reach 8.8% of total retail spending in 2018 as compared to 7.4% in 2016.  In terms of country, UK has the highest retail E-commerce sales as %age of total retail sales (15.6%) , followed by China (13.8%), Norway (11.5%), Finland (10.8%) and South Korea (10.5%).

In my opinion, both shopping in the malls and online is convenient. If you shop online, there are tendencies that the product that you order does not look like the product that you receive or if you’re ordering clothes, the size may be wrong but if you buys clothes in shopping malls, it would be easier for you to shop cause you can find your own size, the color, design or the cloth that you want and you also have a lot of stores to choose from. The problem with online shopping is that you’re not sure with the quality of their product and also if its safe (specially with gadgets and electronics) and the only problem with shopping in malls is that you have put in effort to go there and to shop.

This week is our exam week, we had our written exams on Mathematics and World Religion. The tests were easy so I think that my classmates and I are going to pass (hopefully). Anyways, next week was supposed to be our sem-break but since we are included in the english month program, we have to go to school to decorate and to practice our dance.

Ang Pedro Penduko ay isang sikat na komik na gawa ni Francisco V. Coching (National Artist for Literature) na na-i hayag sa Liwayway Magazine. Si Pedro Penduko ay isang normal na tao na walang kapangyarihan ngunit siya ay matalino at mapamaraan sa paglaban sa masasamang pwersa (Bungisngis, kapre, manananggal, aswang, mambabarang at iba pa). Sinasabi na siya ay  kamag anak ng mga magigiting at matatapang na mga bayani pero siya ay isang duwag kaya siya ay laging may suot na anting-anting na ginagamit niya para protektahan ang kaniyang sarili.

Dahil maganda ang komiks na ito, ginawan siya ng pelikula at teleserye. Ang unang una na aktor na gumanap na Pedro Penduko ay si Efren Reyes Sr. (Pedro Penduko, 1954) tapos si Ramon Zamora (Ang Mahiwagang Daigdig ni Pedro Penduko) at si Janno Gibbs, ang pinaka sikat na Pedro Penduko na gumanap sa dalawang pelikula nito (Ang Pagbabalik ni Pedro Penduko at Pedro Penduko, Episode 2: The Return of the Comeback). Si Matt Evans naman ang huli at siya ang gumanap na Pedro Penduko Komiks sa  ABS CBN (Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko) na nagtagal ng tatlong seasons.

For this week, we are having our preparation for the English Month Program. We are going to wear a Disney character costume for the program and we’re also going to perform a dance number. We are also getting ready for our exam in English and in Oral Communication so, it has been a busy week for everyone.

This week is really hectic for our student council because its the preparation of our Halloween program. They are preparing a lot of stuff for the program to be nice and I can see that they’re really stressed and tired so I and some of my classmates decided to help them.

We helped them cover the rooms with newspapers and trash bags and design the backdrop. I’m really excited for the Halloween program cause I wanna see the little kids on their cute costumes.

“Luma” is a short horror sci-fi film by the dust. Its an 8 minutes and 18 seconds fil that is directed by Ben Carland. The synopsis of the movie is in a futuristic world where the sun is going out/ where the light has left us and mysterious predators roam the wilds, a young man runs for his life on an urgent errand.

In the beginning of the movie, a young man was shown running away in the woods then a zombie/alien-ish like creature, who came out of nowhere, attacked him fortunately he was able to defend his self by lighting a lamp that produces blue light but what he didn’t know is that he was scratched in his arm.

He continued his journey back to his friends or home but the scratch that he got from the creature worsen and started spreading through his body that I think, if it spreads out to your whole body you’ll become like those zombie/alien-like creatures.

He realized that his time is almost over so, he went to the river and swam til he fell because of the waterfalls. The ending of the film is that one of his friends saw him fall from the falls and die.

For this week, its our exam week (Pre-lims). We’ve been studying real hard to pass all our exams and requirements. We also did our Filipino monologue and my role was a “kabit“, I was really really nervous but fortunately, I was able to do well. We also took our World Religion exam today which was easy. I hope that our upcoming Math exam would also be easy.

Today, we were asked to download FL Studio so we could start making our own music or beat. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to download it in school due to the slow wifi connection but I have seen my classmates works and I have watched tutorials in YouTube so, I am pretty excited to try it at home and to make my own beat and music.

Today, my classmates (Neryssa, Sabrina, Andre, Pat, Kaila and Enrique) and I visited the National Museum. We were given a project by Ms. Vina Cipriano that we have to visit a museum and vlog inside. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to vlog inside the National Museun so we just took a couple of pictures. We tried to vlog inside but there were too many guards inside. I was really amazed inside the National Museum, I liked all the paintings and sculptures inside. I’m actually planning to go back to the museum so i could take more pictures to meet the 10 minute vlog requirement.

It has been a really chill week. We just had our usual “School week”, we did our projects, reports, home works and seat works. We also celebrated TEACHERS’ DAY last wednesday, we gave them food and wrote them letters.
